If last night is any indication (blowing an 11 point lead with 3 minutes left on boneheaded plays), the answer is definitively YES.

Man, I totally agree with you. People who tend to compartmentalize their lives into different areas (religion just being another one of those compartments) run the risk of being nominal Christians, at best. We have seen a lot of that growing up in the South, for sure - you tend to meet lots of "cultural" Christians that went to an Easter service with their grandmother when they were six and somehow that, in their mind, is the same as having a renewed/regenerated heart and faith in Christ.
